A&J Driving School – Terms and Conditions

• Student must achieve a grading of 7.5/10 on their road evaluation and 80% on their classroom exam to qualify for the Insurance Reduction Certificate, as well as complete a minimum of 10 hours of in-car and 15 hours of theory training.
• Students must complete the Online Classroom within 90 days from the date of registration, or a reactivation fee of $75 + GST will apply. The online course must be completed before starting road training.
• At least 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling a simulator or in-car lesson. A 2-hour charge will apply to all short-notice changes or no-shows for simulator or in-car lessons.
• At least 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or canceling a theory class. A fee of $75 + GST will be charged for short notice.
• Student will be liable for all damages and traffic offences that occur during training or testing.
• The use of alcohol and/or drugs during any portion of training is strictly prohibited.
• Road test permits are a separate fee and must be purchased through the registry.
• If you are using our school car for the road test, please confirm with us before booking the road test.
• To rewrite the classroom exam, a $90 + GST fee will apply.
• If you are over the age of 16, your training must be completed within eight months from the registration date.
• Full payment is required prior to commencement, and no refunds will be issued after training has started.
• Program cannot be downgraded once registration is completed.
• By sending payment, you agree to the above terms and conditions. The student/parent agrees to be contacted by email regarding marketing and office communications. Their email may be stored and used by A&J Driving School and its associates.
